I have watched every episode currently aired but have decided to go back through starting from Series 1 and write down all the things i notice, questions that need answering, Characters you meet etc..

I have just finished Series 1 and below is what i have come up with?

If anybody has any comments or disagree's with what i put im all ears.

What is the black thing on the floor next to jack when he wakes up?
Where did Jack go in the first episode, did he just get lost or was it something more important?
Where did the plane crash/Where is the Island?
Why is there a Polar Bear on the island & how can it survive?
Why did Jack wake up way out in the jungle?and how is he not hurt?
What does Jack's Tattoo mean?
Why does the Rose reconize the noise in the jungle?and mention that she is from the bronx?Connection?
Why is kate a prisoner? - Robbed a bank?, Killed her Friend by Accident?
Why does Locke have a case full of knives?
Why is locke no longer paralysed?
Why was locke Paralysed in the first place?
Why does Jack keep seeing his dad on the island?Illusalation?
Why did Sun hide that she speaks english?
How did Nadia, Sayid's Friend Die?
What is the rope for from the sea to the jungle/who put it there?
Where is Alex, Danielles Daughter & how did she go missing?
Where is the ship/boat that the science expedition came on?
Who are the Others?
What/why/who are there Whispers?
Why were the science expedition sick or is danielle just nuts?
Where did vincent come from when he first appeared?

1st time we see vincent he looks at jack, 2nd time we see vincent he is watching jack again from behind some bushes, he also keeps disappearing from time to time, strange maybe???
Is there any significance when locke holds up one white stone & one black?Reference:Jack hides them when he finds some on the skeletons, When claire has her first dream and locke looks at her he has 1 white stone and 1 black as eyes
Where is Jacks Dad's Body that should be in the coffin?/Who took it?/Why did they take it?
Who are the Adam & Eve skeletions in the cave?
Why do the skeletions have one white stone & one black stone on them?
Why does Jack hide the Black & white stones when locke turns up & then Gives charlie a dirty look when he tells locke?
Were claires dreams real or ment something? Cant be just a dream because she sees the black & white stones in Lockes Eyes.
What does Richard Malkin the astrology man see that makes him so scared and wont continue, why does claire have to raise the baby??Why so important, Why does he make sure she goes on flight 815 so she ends up on the island?
Who is Ethan?/How did he get on the Island?/Why does he want claire?/Why is he posing as a survivor?
Why doesnt Charlie remember anything from the kidnapping?
What is the hatch that Locke & Boone found & why did it light up?
Why does the compass not point north?
Why do walts comic have polor bears and a picture of an island in the sea?
Why/How has walt got special powers? - He tells Locke "not to open it" refering to the hatch that he has never seen.
Why has claire had dreams of the black rock when she hasnt even heard of it?
Where has claire been?

Why doesnt claire remember anyone?
Why have half the people met in some way or another off the island even if they dont know it?

Why are the numbers cursed or is it all just coninsidence?

Why is Kates mom scared of her?

Who was on the black rock & what happened to them? - Slaves but who else?
Exodus - Michael says to Jack "see you soon" and Jack replies saying "Yes You Will". Is there something Jack knows or is this just politeness?
What did sawyer have in his shirt on the raft that made Michael give him a dirty look?
Where is the Black Smoke Monster pulling locke to?& why?
Why does the black smoke Monster kill people?, try to kidnap people and drag them underground?, what is its purpose?, how did it get there,? What was it doing in the pilot episode with the engine? etc...
Why did Locke say to let him go when being pulled by the monster?
Why do you keep seeing the magic number & the number of the plane everywhere?
Did the island bring them there for a reason or was it simply a plane crash?Who were the people on the boat?
What were they doing so far from land in a little boat?
Why did they take walt?

OK first of all please title your posts properly as the majority of these questions have been answered and you would know this as you have "seen every episode aired to date"!

and secondly the questions that are yet to be answered are unanswered for a reason as they will be pivotal to the ending of the show!

And you seem to have put all the passengers on the wrong Oceanic flight. It is flight 815 not flight 816 as you wrote over and over and over again in your very lengthy, detailed diatribe. Just a suggestion, but if this is all about your questions and whatever else you are talking about in Season 1, you should have made your thread in the Season 1 section. This is not a General Discussion as it is specific to Season 1.

I stopped reading after a few lines, man nearly all the questions have been answered, have you actually seen anything beyond season 1??

I can't believed you asked why the plane crashed and why jack was not hurt, which he was(when kate helps him stitch himself up). Where is alex? are you serious? you ''forgot'' she died in season 4 and more recently this was shown in the ben centric episode?
What does jacks tattoo mean? there is an episode all about it when he's in Thailland.
What is the hatch and why did a light come on? im not gonna even answer that, no disrespect man but this is the most ridiculous post i've ever read.
If you don't know most of this then you haven't seen all the episodes aired to date.

revise this so your list only includes Questions that have YET to be answered. Work your way through all the seasons checking off your anwsers as you go, this should leave you with a definate list of unanswered questions which should make a intresting post. Just to get you started a oldy but a goody from season 1. Who are Adam & eve?

I think i definatly must of worded this wrong.

These are questions that have not been answered by the end of series "1". I know many of them have been answered now but that was not the point of what i was aiming for.

I am going to watch the second season, Which will then give me an updated list, then 3rd & so on.

This will hopefully get me a list of every single possible question that has not been answered at the end of season 5 that will hopefully be answered in season 6.

The reason i have done this is one because i wasnt very well last week & did have "too much time on my hands" and two because there are that many questions in 5 season's that i guarentee that i forget about some of them come season 6.

I posted this because i wondered if anyone knew of any of these questions were answered in season "1"!! and if anyone knew of any other questions that were brought up in season "1".


I agree a made a typo with the "816" and the reason it is on every line is because of "copy & paste".

Also the question why was Jack not hurt means - If he has just been on a plane that had crashed and he fell out of it somehow that he landed in the jungle then why is he not hurt??? Im sure he would have more injures then a cut on his side. If he didnt fall out of the plane and got there someother way then the first half of the question stands, "how did he end up way out there".

I hope this clears a few things up.

I think the first question should be why or how did anyone survive that plane crash? The most obvious and logical answer is, No one did! But then we would not have a show to watch.

Thats a fair enough question, it is strange that a plane crashes from the sky and it was that bad of a crash that the plane ended up in bits. Yet no-one except agent mars had any serious injuries.

I will certainly ad that to the list.

I am hoping to watch the 2nd season over the next week or two & will post an updated list for the end of season 2.
