Unhappy Widmore is definitely a bad guy--

Christian told Locke to move the island to hide it from Widmore to save the island. The island let Ben come back in current time. Ben might be evil as well or maybe Desmond was right--they are all just pawns of some sort.

Christian didn't say to move it to "hide it from Widmore"

He said:

you asked me how to save the island...I told you that you had to move it
Also, his comment on Ben (re: John Locke listening to Ben's instructions)...

Quote:
since when did listening to him get you anywhere worth a damn?

first part is true--but Ben did not know to move the lsland until Locke said that 's what to do. I would also guess that Christian knew the island was under attack--no prrof just a guess

Default Who is controlling Christian and Locke

There is no way that Christian was afraid of what Keamy would do to the Island. Telling Locke to move the Island played into Ben's paranoid fear of Widmore. Like any good cult leader Ben nviewed a threat to himself as a threat to the Others and the Island. Christian and Locke are zombies under control of some supernatural force that may not be a force for good. Widmore could easily end up being the good guy.

Widmore wanted Locke back on the Island for the upcoming war. If Locke and the Island are now BFFs, I'd say Widmore is a good guy because I think the Island is on the good side also.
