Default Would you change the future?

I have been thinking about Daniels plan to wipe out the past by changing the future. Here you are on this island with so many people wanting to leave and I ask why? To get back to the real world and live a ordinary life, being unaware of the life they left behind. I think the plane crash was a gift to all of them. The island heals them in more ways than one, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Locke is tuned in to what the island wants and gives, although he might seem a little crazy he knows its potential. If everyone would just fess up to what they know, maybe it wouldn't be a bad place to live. So i ask would you change the future and eliminate ever being on the island in the first place?

No way, Charleee. I would never have left in the first place.
Given their individual situations, no one had much of anything promising to look forward to in LA.
If and when they finally understand the Others, they would/should also come to terms with their own demons and realize what a gift they do/did indeed have/had living there.
If the question is a personal one that you are asking, Charlie, then let us examine our own lives, each of us, and whether or not we feel enlightened, enriched, or more at peace with anything that may have been troubling any of US prior to our LOST experience. I'll bet more people than not would agree with you.
Me, no, I would not change the future to eliminate having been on the island in the first place. Nope.

Well let's not forget about all of the people who in the plane crash and subsequent events. Some of them pretty horrifically. (Frogurt, the pilot, Nikki and Paolo)

Ahh the forgotten four. So you think we should change the future so those four could live?

I just usewd those four as examples of particularly unpleasant deaths. I'd guess that at least 30 or 40 other people of the survivors have bought the farm amd that's not counting those that died in the plane crash.

So what if you change it and the plane ends up crashing in LA and killing thousands?
