i'm a wee bit disappointed - i wanted to know more about the workings of the DI - i wanted to know exactly what they were doing, how they got to the island, why they chose the island. more about the degroots and more about the experiments they did.
so even though we are seeing the DI, a horace/DI flashback would be good to see. take us back to the origins.

we still might see some things, especially if they ever show us ann arbor
yeah, jacob stole the cabin. if he was so powerful, he could have made his own, right?
Why does Jacob even need a cabin? Was the cabin Horace built an upgrade from a previous cabin/tent, or did Jacob suddenly decide he needed a cabin? Perhaps he had a fight with the Island and like a divorced spouse, suddeny needed a place to stay? Perhaps he's not allowed in the Temple? Maybe he likes to make a chowder for those cool tropical nights?

who said Jacob wants to be in the cabin, maybe he is trapped there. maybe he would really like to go chill on the beach. maybe he wants to be reunited with his foot.
