The LOST Season 4 DVD (My Expanded Experience)

Moments before leaving town for Thanksgiving, I noticed the UPS package from Walt Disney Studios. I knew it was the LOST Season 4 DVD and I handled it with great reverence. It was time to get LOST again and I carefully wrapped the DVD case in my souvenir LOST Season II Film Crew T-Shirt (won at a raffle). After arriving at my brother's house, I secured the prime bedroom suite in the plush basement with the entertainment center. I had to wait until everyone had departed for bed, because my brother has not seen even the Season 1 DVD (I know! It's shameful - my own brother!) I quickly donned the LOST T-shirt and settled in for a late night LOST viewing. Six DVDs are included in the package and they are packed with features among which are running audio commentaries with Jorge and Evangeline as well as Damon and Carlton, the Honolulu Symphony Pops Orchestra playing music from LOST at a huge outdoor LOST event in Hawaii, the flash-forwards played in order, LOST in 8 minutes and 15 seconds, LOST on Location, LOST in Hawaii, The Right to Bear Arms (How many guns are on that island?), deleted scenes, bloopers and so much more.

I can't imagine any other show that would allow me to do as much as I've been able to do with the music as this show and I think it will always be something, at least for me, that I look back on as one of the best things I ever got to work on. - Michael Giacchino

The Music

What would LOST really be without the music? One of the outstanding features on the Season 4 DVD is something called Soundtrack of Survival: Composing for Character, Conflict and the Crash.
